SENDING US YOUR DOCUMENTS

To legally produce number plates, suppliers require customers to provide original documents that prove their identity and entitlement to the registration.

These documents must be in their original form, NO photocopies and digital copies not being accepted.

Acceptable documents include a V5C Logbook, V750 Certificate, and certain utility bills.

Suppliers must check and record document reference numbers to confirm the customer's identity, address, and entitlement to the registration.

This is in accordance with the laws surrounding the production of number plates, which state that only original documents are acceptable proof.

Our company adheres strictly to the guidelines governing the supply of number plates, prioritizing customer security throughout the ordering process and beyond.

We take measures to prevent vehicle cloning and associated criminal activities by only selling registration numbers to individuals with legitimate access to the necessary documentation.

This commitment to security is unwavering and provides our customers with peace of mind, knowing that their vehicle's identity is protected.

To complete a purchase, two types of documents are required:

We accept the following documents as proof of address (dated within the last 6 months):

• Utility (Gas/Electric/Water) Bill
• Telephone or Internet Bill
• Bank Statement For proof of entitlement, we accept:
• Electronic number plate authorisation certificate (eV948)
• Letter of authorisation from a fleet operator (including lease or hire company) quoting the document reference number from the registration certificate
• If your fleet is in the new V5C on demand scheme (also called ‘V5C suppression’), a PDF of the vehicle’s details from the view vehicle record service

Physical Original Documents:

For all other documents, physical originals are required and must be sent via post. Please note that any company not adhering to these rules is operating illegally and should not be trusted.

Document Submission:

If you're not local to our location, simply post your documents to us. We'll guide you through the process after your order. We'll produce your number plates and send them back with your documents securely via Royal Mail Tracked delivery.

Returning Documents

After processing your documents and producing your number plates, we'll securely package them together and return them to you via a tracked mail service.

Required Documents

When ordering a private registration, no proof documents are necessary. When ordering number plates, we require a proof of address document, which can be sent digitally. For our Done-For-You Transfer Service, we'll need a photo of the front cover of the V5C Logbook.

Document Guidelines

We adhere to legal requirements to ensure the authenticity and security of your purchase. Your ID document doesn't need to match the entitlement document, as purchasing number plates as gifts is allowed. Digital documents can be sent as PDF files, while physical originals are required for other documents.
