Show Plates are customized number plates designed for display purposes only, often used at events, exhibitions, or showrooms. They do not comply with DVLA regulations for road use and may feature unique designs or fonts.

Our standard UK plate size is 520 mm x 111 mm (20" x 4.3").

We offer a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects or natural issues.

We recommend using our supplied fixing kit for optimal reliability. Our sticky pad fixing kit is a great choice for quick installation.

Our outer packaging is plain, without any branding, making it suitable for gifts.

We use Royal Mail for all deliveries. Number plate orders benefit from free tracked delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 48, while fixing kits and accessories are shipped free via 1st Class delivery. You can upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 for a nominal fee.

If you're purchasing a private registration only, no proof of documents is required. However, if you're buying a private number plate, we need a digital proof of address document. This document can be in your own name, even if you're buying the private registration as a gift. If using our Done-For-You Transfer Service, we require a photo of the front cover of the V5C Logbook, which will be guided through after your purchase.

At Alphabet Plates UK, we strictly adhere to legal requirements to ensure the legitimacy and security of your number plate purchase. To facilitate a smooth and legal transaction, it's essential to understand which documents are acceptable and how they should be provided. Please note that the ID document you provide does not need to match the entitlement document, as the laws permit buying number plates as a gift. The ID document can be in your own name, while the proof of entitlement is in the name of the recipient, for example.
